4 Series F33 is a distinct F32/F33/F36 body branch. An open body with a folding roof and generation-specific structural reinforcement, seating and luggage packaging.
The first 4 Series moved the 3 Series' coupe and cabriolet lineage into a separate model line and added the five-door F36 Gran Coupe. Reference body dimensions are 4,638 mm × 1,825 mm × 1,384 mm on a 2,810 mm wheelbase. Factory figures can vary slightly with bumpers, exterior equipment, homologation method and model year.
