Purpose of the site
ChassisAtlas is an independent historical and technical reference, not an official BMW source. By using the site after publication, you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, do not use it.
Not professional advice
The catalog does not replace VIN verification, factory literature for the relevant market and model year, diagnosis by a qualified professional, or advice on safety, repairs, parts compatibility, purchasing, valuation or insurance. Verify critical information against primary documents and the individual vehicle before acting.
Permitted use
Normal browsing, personal research, linking and limited lawful quotation with attribution are permitted. You must not misrepresent the project as official, copy the catalog or interface wholesale, evade technical controls, impose excessive load, introduce malicious code, test vulnerabilities without written permission, or interfere with other users.
A third-party photograph or item remains governed independently by its own licence, which may permit more or less than these terms; always follow its credit and source licence.
Accuracy, availability and liability
The editorial team aims to cite sources and correct errors, but information may be incomplete, market-specific or outdated. The site is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect loss or decisions based solely on the catalog; nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be limited.

Access control and future features
The operator may restrict malicious or clearly non-compliant automated access. Future accounts, garages, user posts and social features are not covered by these catalog-only terms and must not launch before separate rules for moderation, user content and data are adopted.
