4 Series G22 is a distinct G22/G23/G26 body branch. A lower-roof two-door body with longer doors and a more overtly sporting brief than the corresponding sedan.
G22/G23/G26 broadened the second 4 Series generation to include combustion and battery-electric Gran Coupe derivatives on related body architecture. Reference body dimensions are 4,768 mm × 1,852 mm × 1,383 mm on a 2,851 mm wheelbase. Factory figures can vary slightly with bumpers, exterior equipment, homologation method and model year.
