8 Series G15 is a distinct G14/G15/G16 body branch. A lower-roof two-door body with longer doors and a more overtly sporting brief than the corresponding sedan.
The revived 8 Series spans coupe, soft-top cabriolet and a longer-wheelbase four-door Gran Coupe on the CLAR architecture. Reference body dimensions are 4,851 mm × 1,902 mm × 1,346 mm on a 2,822 mm wheelbase. Factory figures can vary slightly with bumpers, exterior equipment, homologation method and model year.
