8 Series G14 is a distinct G14/G15/G16 body branch. An open body with a folding roof and generation-specific structural reinforcement, seating and luggage packaging.
The revived 8 Series spans coupe, soft-top cabriolet and a longer-wheelbase four-door Gran Coupe on the CLAR architecture. Reference body dimensions are 4,843 mm × 1,902 mm × 1,339 mm on a 2,822 mm wheelbase. Factory figures can vary slightly with bumpers, exterior equipment, homologation method and model year.
