6 Series E63 is a distinct E63/E64 body branch. A lower-roof two-door body with longer doors and a more overtly sporting brief than the corresponding sedan.
E63/E64 revived the 6 Series as a coupe and soft-top cabriolet with aluminium-intensive front structure and early iDrive electronics. Reference body dimensions are 4,820 mm × 1,855 mm × 1,374 mm on a 2,780 mm wheelbase. Factory figures can vary slightly with bumpers, exterior equipment, homologation method and model year.
